It is that time again “Mother and Daughter Luncheon” Oh I would give any thing to have my Mom go to the luncheon with me.
It was 1983 on Thanksgiving Day that I said good bye to my Mom. WOW, it seems like yesterday, I still miss her, even more today than I did the day she died. Those of you that have lost their Mom probably understand how I feel.
I am looking forward to “2010 Mothers and Daughter Luncheon” all of our lives have changed in this pass year; I know that must be true for you as well. I have most of my family close by this year. I am going to be a great grandma this year that will be something special for me. I hope to be surrounded my love ones at the luncheon. . Those of you that maybe wondering if you should go to the luncheon alone without a daughter or mother to sit at your table STOP wondering and COME! Most women enjoy having lunch together, and looking at the beautiful tables, watch a variety show and hear a great speaker, what more could we want for $12.50 a ticket.
I hope you are hearing me say I will miss you if your not there. We are family all of us some may even attend another church but we are all still family. Let us celebrate womanhood and remember those mothers that are only with us in our hearts.
Her children stand and bless her. Her husband praises her.” There are many virtuous and capable women in the world, but you surpass them all!” Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not lass; but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised. Reward her for all she has done. Let her deeds publicly declare her praise. Proverbs 31:28-30 NLT
Come and be served by men and be honored by the Lord.
