God's Faithfulness To His Word!

A few weeks ago my husband became quite ill and had to be hospitalized for a week. He had food poisoning. One day everything is great and the next day we were dealing with a crisis. For the first few days I was not worried, but when the doctors started using oxygen and a heart monitor, I became afraid.  I did not understand what was happening.

One evening after I had gone home from the hospital, I was overwhelmed with fear.  About 2:30 AM, I found myself on my knees by the bed telling God how worried I was.  I reminded God that His word says, "Don't worry about anything, instead pray about everything.  Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done.  Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.  His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus."  (NLT)  I said to God, I need peace!!!

Immediately I felt I was to get up, dress and go back to the hospital.  After I arrived, I began to feel somewhat peaceful.

Joe had a wonderful evening nurse named Sally.  She came into Joe's room and saw my fear.  She told me that she believed that God had prompted me to come back to the hospital.  Then she began to share with me in layman's terms exactly what had happened to Joe.  She promised me that he would be ok.  What wonderful peace this brought me!  God used this precious Christian nurse to answer my prayer.

How grateful I am that we can trust God and His word each and every day of our lives.  Joe has fully recovered.  PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FAITHFULNESS TO HIS WORD!!!
