All three of these words end with “ship.”
I like to think of this as all of us in the same ship out at sea, and no one can jump ship.
It is going through life supporting and uplifting each other when times are tough. And, it’s rejoicing with each other when times are good.
Relationships matter to me. People are the most important thing in my life. You can replace things in life but never another person. I have no control over another’s life, and how they give of themselves in relationships. But, I do determine what kind of friend, father, brother, or husband I am. It takes time and energy to do life with others well, and the rewards are tremendous.
Take time to nurture your relationships. It’s really easy when you apply one simple rule to your life: “Let everything you say be good or helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.” – The Apostle Paul
