For my benefit, God often allows me to experience circumstances, which will enable me to recognize my blind adherence to Satan’s deceptions. Many times, these circumstances seem very negative, but through them, I can learn valuable, life-changing truths. I think that God is teaching me an important lesson: that success or failure is not the basis of my self-worth.I know now as a child I was dealing with being Dyslexic. I grew up believing that I was stupid. I knew I had a choice, to avoid risks, or try to succeed no matter what the cost. Either way, failure was a constant enemy.Thankfully, God has a solution for my fear of failure. I now have a secure self-worth TOTALLY apart from my ability to perform. I have been justified, placed in right standing before God through Christ’s death on the cross, which paid for my sins. God not only forgave me, He granted me the righteousness of Christ. In 2 Cor.5: 21 Paul wrote: “He made Him (Christ) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteous of God in Him.” Jesus assigned righteousness to me and to you. If you have trusted in Christ, we are completely forgiven, and I am fully pleasing to God and so are you. The love of God and His acceptance of me are based on grace, not my good deeds. Then why should I obey God?
1.Christ’s love motivates me to live for Him.
2.Sin is destructive and should be avoided.
3.Our Father lovingly disciplines me for wrongdoing.
4.His commands for me are good.
5.I will receive eternal rewards for obedience.
6.He is worthy of my obedience.

I remember our Pastor saying “ When our pain of the same is greater then the pain of change. We will change”
I’m there are you?
