"Circumstances Never Prove The Will Of God"

Do you ever question God when you find yourself facing a difficult time in your life?

Like, “Why is this happening?” “Am I doing something wrong for this to happen?” And so on. So many times we find ourselves looking at our circumstances wondering if we are in God’s will or not. When I was in college, one of my professors use to say, “Remember, circumstances never prove the will of God in your life” Just because times are hard does not mean that God does not have you right where He wants you to be. I don’t believe that God causes bad things to happen to His children to teach them a lesson. I do believe though that God does allow us to go through hard times so we are able to see His goodness and love working in our lives. Another friend says, “Don’t put your trust in someone who doesn’t have a few battle scares. Otherwise, if a person hasn’t gone through something why are you asking them for help? How can they advise you if they never have had to go through tough times?  It’s when we have gone through battles and hard times that our faith grows and we are able to see who it is that our strength and blessings come from. I have found that my most precious times with God have been when I have gone through the worst. Learn to embrace your circumstances and look for the hidden treasures that God has given you to help others in need. He is always faithful and will bring us through anything that is put before us. Trust God, not your circumstances!
