Over the past two years or so, I have had dear friends diagnosed with dreaded disease called “cancer”.  Two of them have gone to be with the Lord and the others are in the midst of “fighting the good fight of faith” on a daily basis. (First Timothy 6:12)

These friends have been such an inspiration to me.  They have a strong belief in God and a faith that can withstand any storm.  I have watched their families and how they have rallied around to support their loved one.  Also, I have watched the body of Christ reach out to minister and provide practical needs.

As I have observed all these expressions of love, I have to wonder how people that don’t know Jesus, have family or friends, survive the circumstances of life.

Bottom line of this blog is …….God’s Word says, “By His stripes we were healed”. (Is.53:5 and First Peter 2:24)  Jesus also said, “He came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10)  I stand on these words and I am believing that they will be healed and totally restored to health!!!
